Bridget O. Hubbard,
Bridget has been a summer resident on Nantucket for 25 years. Her first trip was with husband Mark after they had moved to the Midwest, far from family and the familiar. It was over that chilly October weekend that a course was set. They built their home on Milk Street over the old town dump. Even today, Bridgets garden is an unofficial archaeological dig, producing all manner of china shards and broken bottles
and the occasional flower!
A fledgling gardener and flower arranger, Bridget has been very active in the Nantucket Garden Club, enjoying the opportunity to work with others to benefit our community. It is this same motivation, combined with a love of architecture, that drew Bridget to the NPT.
Her background includes a B.A. from Saint Marys College in Notre Dame, IN, and a M.B.A. in Marketing from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Her professional career began at Procter & Gamble, followed by LensCrafters, and has more recently included marketing consultancy. A lifelong volunteer with multiple arts organizations and community programs, Bridget spends the other season working with the Lenox (MA) Garden Club and the Berkshire Botanical Garden.
Son Matthew is a lifelong summer resident and the very happy beneficiary of his parents decision to move here 25 years ago!
