Timber Framing Demonstration
June 21, 2 pm

The NPT, in partnership with the Preservation Institute of Nantucket, welcomes Rudy Christian, Executive Director of the Preservation Trades Network, for a Timber Framing Demonstration in the Nantucket Athenuem Garden on June 21st at 2 pm. This demonstration is free and open to the public.

Rudy will demonstrate traditional timber framing techniques and discuss the evolution of timber framing, and post & beam joints. Nearly all the houses built on Nantucket in the 18th were constructed in this manner.
