Summer Kitchens Tour
The NPT’s Fifth Annual Summer Kitchen Tour will focus on historic homes in the Fair Street neighborhood. This special event illustrates how historic homes can be sensitively updated with modern kitchens and how historic kitchens can be incorporated into everyday life. 10 am – 4pm, Tickets $40
New this year - Breakfast Lecture! Ms. Nancy Carlisle, culinary historian and author of America's Kitchens, will discuss the history of America's kitchens from the seventeeth century to the present. 8:30 a.m. Click here for details

Annual Meeting and Historic Preservation Awards
Architectural Preservationist Brian Pfieffer will discuss why preservation makes sense in our current economic climate. Awards will be presented after lecture. Luncheon will be held at Sankaty Head Golf Course, for tickets ($75) please call the office.
The Preservation Award is designed to honor a builder, owner, or other individual involved in preservation of one or more historic properties. As advocates for Nantucket's historic architecture, an important part of our mission is to recognize such efforts. 11 am - Unitarian Meeting House, 11 Orange Street. August Fête
An evening of fun, food, and preservation pointers in 'Sconset. The August Fête, is a feast for the eyes and palette. The evening will be comprised of a progressive tour of historic cottages restored to accommodate modern life while keeping their architectural integrity intact. 6 - 9 pm, Tickets $150 and $100.
