The gardens are planted with shades of pink, blue, grey and white using flowers such as Cosmos, Nicotiana, Cleome, Nigella, Victoria, Blue Salvia, Impatiens, Verbena, Dusty Miller and annual Scabiosa.
Some of the perennials that were the backbone of the garden years ago still survive. A few are Santolina, Nepeta, Lady’s Mantle, Lamb’s ear, Peonies, Achillea, Dicentra, Centaurea Montana, Lychnis, Daylilies, Heuchera, Hosta.
