(2nd Floor) Hall: Christina Wiggins Decorative Painting
The decorative wall painting was inspired by Reverend Samuel Foxcroft’s home in New Gloucester, Maine. It is an excellent example of free-hand wall patterning, popular throughout New England in the first quarter of the 19th century.
